Obituary for Brenda Smith (Turner) Brenda Jean Smith, age 63, of Indian Mound, TN passed away, September 23, 2018. She was born April 23, 1955, in Montgomery County, TN, daughter of Samuel Eugene Turner and Betty Jean Burkhart Turner. Mrs. Smith was a bookkeeper for Smith Logging and attended Cross Creek Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Eugene Turner, and her sister, Rita Hammonds. She is survived by her husband, Teddy Smith, Indian Mound, son, Scott Smith (Lori), Indian Mound, TN, mother, Betty Turner, Indian Mound, brothers, Marty Turner, Jeff Turner, Larry Turner, Mickey Turner, grandchildren, Nicholas Smith, and Adam Lee Smith, and great grandchildren, Mila Smith and Nixon Smith. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm, Monday, October 1, 2018 at Cross Creek Baptist Church.

In lieu of memorials, donations may be made to the Cross Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, care of Zannie Earhart. Arrangements are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home.
