Brenda Joyce Porter Spartanburg, SC: Brenda Joyce Porter went home to be with the Lord Friday September 28, 2018. She was the wife of the late James Donald Porter and the daughter of the late Jeanette Terry Carlisle. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was a member of Gaffney Freewill Baptist Church. She had a great love for Jesus and was an avid prayer warrior. She is survived by a son Todd Porter and wife Jill of Spartanburg; a daughter Terri Porter; two sisters Sandra Franklin of Athens Ga.

, and Tina dean and husband Marvin of Spartanburg; and nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm Saturday October 6, 2018 at Philadelphia Baptist Church, Pauline, SC. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 pm officiated by Rev.
