Life is short, but love is Eternal Brenda Lea McKinney, 66, of Darlington, Pa, passed away on March 21, 2019 at the United Hospital Center. She was born July 24, 1952 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Raymond Lee and Ethel Mae Hartley Ashcraft. Brenda was a hardcore gamer and loved to play World of Warcraft.

She also enjoyed camping, fishing, and swimming. Brenda is survived by her two children, Yvonne (Richard) Skidmore of Clarksburg and Sonia Swiger of Glenville; seven grandchildren, Raymond, Amber and husband Jeremy, Maria, Douglas, Alyssa, Devin and Jonnathan; three step grandchildren, Crystal, James and Phillip; several great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Lillie Bell. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her sister Mildred Queen and brother in law Ronald Queen; and her two yorkies, Lola and Mr. Sweets.

Per Brenda’s request, she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her Funeral Care Fund on her memorial page. Online condolences may be sent to Davisfuneralhomewv.com.
