Obituary for Brenda Smith Yedkois Brenda Smith Yedkois, 71, of Martinsville, passed away, Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Martinsville Health and Rehab. She was born October 18, 1947, in Ridgeway, Virginia, to the late Russell and Lillian Boardwine Smith. She and her husband worked for Carnival, traveling all over the United States until she was in a car accident and suffered health complications.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fredrick Yedkois. Mrs. Yedkois is survived by her brothers, Donnie Smith, Gary Smith (Shirley), and Ricky Smith. There will be a private graveside service on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Fair Haven Memorial Park.
