Obituary for Brittany Paige Bomar Brittany Paige Bomar, age 28 of Cape Girardeau, Mo, departed this world on May 8th, 2018. Paige had a voracious appetite for life the moment she arrived in this world. As her loved one’s can attest, she wasn’t afraid to go out in the world and was passionate about everything she did.
She and her fiance, Ethan Myer, would often travel to various festivals and destinations, a camera always in hand, sharing their experiences with others. She had a deep love for life and was always striving to help make this Earth a better place, whether it was sharing veganism or protesting for animal rights, Paige was a passionate activist. Her love for animals grew as she became the mother of her four fur-babies, Dori, Athena, Spock, and Titus.
This passion guided her to graduate from Southeast Missouri University with two bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Social Sciences. She was a paraprofessional at Jackson School District, where she loved working with her students and peers. Paige’s warm smile and joyful laugh helped brighten the lives of those around her and she will be sorely missed.
Paige is survived by her mother Dana Baker, her father Matt Baker, sister Megan Bomar from Cape, brother Hunter Bomar from Jackson ; her fiance, Ethan Myer from Cape, his father Travis Myer, mother Sheri Myer from Millersville, and sister, Samantha Myer from Saint Louis. Her maternal grandparents Jeanine and Gary Bomar from Fruitland. Her maternal grandmother Janet Nicholson from Jackson; her paternal grandparents Karen and John Baker from Cape.
Her two nephews Mason and Cohen McHughs from Cape. Services will be held at Ford and Son’s Funeral Home on Mount Auburn in Cape Girardeau, MO. The visitation will be held on Friday, May 11 from 4-8pm.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 10:am. Memorial contributions will be made to The Gentle Barn charity. Online condolences can be shared at www.
