Bruce Allen Gaba May 17, 1959 – November 20, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bruce Allen Gaba, 59 of LaSalle, announces his passing on November 20, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. A celebration of his life will be held next year. Bruce was born May 17, 1959 in Berwyn to James and Lillian (Janke) Gaba.

Bruce is a long time contributor to the Toys for Tots Motorcycle run, which he actively participated in each year. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. and the 701 Auto Mechanic Union, which he was retired from. Bruce is lovingly remembered by his many family members.

His two sisters Cindy (Richard) Monroe and Lillian (Frank) Spriggs, and his brother, James (Lillian) Gaba. He is celebrated by his many nieces and nephews. His nephews, Daniel (Josette) Spriggs and their daughter Sophia Spriggs.

Eric Monroe and his children, Cole and Jena Monroe. Todd Monroe and his girlfriend Susan and their children Mason Monroe, Makeyla Hult, Keller Hult, Lilley Monroe and Pierce Terry. Brent Monroe and his children Kaden, Kolton and Karter Monroe.

Matt (Hallie) Monroe and their daughter Harper Monroe. Jesse Monroe. James Gaba Jr. and Timothy Gaba.

His nieces Samantha Spriggs and Brandy Spriggs. Jackie Monroe and her son Hunter Spiegel. Kimberly Gaba and Sherry Gaba.

Bruce was preceded in death by his mother in 1969 and his father in 1980, his sister Barbara Brozzo (Gaba) in 1998 and his brother in Law Charles Brozzo in 1994. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to Peru Ambulance or Toys for Tots.
