Caring step father of Frances Elizabeth Hommel, Loving brother of Barb Fassett of Cherry Valley, NY and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he adored, who along with other family and friends will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Madeyln Bernstein, his former wife Fern Elizabeth Turner Bernstein, a brother Robert LeRoy Bernstein, a daughter Linda Hooper, a son Robert Irving Bernstein, a great-grandson Dennis James Allen, and a great-granddaughter Arial Bernstein.
