Bruce A. Nelson, 66, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bruce was born August 18, 1952, to the late Raymond and Kathryn (Hansen) Nelson. He was a self-employed, installer of movable shelving systems, and a well-known, auto mechanic in Warren County.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and cooking shows, loved to host barbeques, and you could always find him enjoying beer with his friends. Most of all, Bruce enjoyed time with his family, and his grandchildren were the light of his life. Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Debra (McIntosh) Nelson, whom he married on April 5, 1980; his children, Heather Peterson (Bill), Bryan Nelson (Monica), Tina Groves, and Mark Wagner; his sister, Sharon Wingard Nelson; his brother, Greg Nelson (Donna); 10 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; a few great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Scott Nelson; his brother, Raymond Nelson Jr.; and sister, Greta Porter. Friends will be received on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 10 am – 12 pm at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, 1003 Penna. Ave.

E. Warren, PA 16365, with a Funeral Service to follow, the Rev. Dr. Mark Hecht, pastor, officiating. It has been requested that memorial contributions be given to the family to offset funeral costs.
