Buford Jordan Burch, 86, of Florence, passed away on December 18, 2018 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. He was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ and he attended services with Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. He attended Mars Hill Bible School.

Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Charles Meek officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Burch, Sr., and Cleazelle Jordan Burch; sisters, Merle Burch Almon and Eudora Burch Underwood and brother, John Thomas Burch, Jr. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Carolyn Burch; a host of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; great-great-great nieces and nephews and cousins. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to thank the kind and loving staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth and Hospice of North Alabama for their loving kindness and dedication.
