Mr. Byron Keith Kennedy was born September 30, 1956, to Mr. John K. Kennedy & Gertrude Patman Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy attended Detroit Jared F. Finney High School, in Detroit Michigan. He later joined the U.S. Army and received an Honorable discharge.

He worked at Detroit Cheverolet/Holbrook Gear and Axle for many years, before becoming disabled. He loved listening to music, playing dominoes, chess and as a child he loved playing hockey. Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers: Aaron Lee Patman, Kenneth Lloyd Kennedy and Christopher Vance Kennedy and his son Darius Kennedy.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children Brian Kennedy, Shani Kennedy, Amber Austin and Byron Austin; his siblings Darlene Patman-Stephens, Leslie Kennedy-Eckford, Alison Leigh Kennedy, Brenda Rodgers, Darin Layne Kennedy, Charles Alfern Kennedy and Eugene Justice Kennedy; his grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
