Mr. Calvin Eldon Short best known as Press age 61 of Christiana, TN and formerly of Celina, TN passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Kenny Westmoreland will officiate and interment to follow in the Hamilton Addition of the Fitzgerald Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 8 a.m. until the service time at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Press is survived by his wife, Barbra Short of Christiana, TN; 2 daughters, Tiffney Short of Glasgow, KY and Chelsey Smith and husband, Jesse of Woodbury, TN; 5 brothers Terry, James, Lonnie and Buddy Short all of Indiana and Jeff “Doc” Short of Celina; 1 sister Victoria Short; 2 granddaughters, Alexandria Taylor and Grace Smith; step-mom, Sharon Case; a very special nephew, Colby Short as well as a host of other nieces and nephews, family and friends who also mourn his passing.
