Candyce D. Davis, 63, of Pittsburgh, died Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born July 4, 1955, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Harold and Gloria Dudley Butler. She was Baptist.

Prior to her retirement, Candyce worked as a Unit Secretary for Allegheny General Hospital for 33 years. She enjoyed making scrap books, cards, candles and crafts, and was a charitable person who donated regularly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She was a member of the Lady’s Original Gang, in Canonsburg.

Surviving are her son, James (Mellisa) Davis, of Pittsburgh; daughter, Azizzi Davis, of Verona; brothers, Harold Butler of Pittsburgh, and Clarence Butler, of Canonsburg; sisters, Tamara (Leonard) Williams, of Washington, Beatrice (Andy) Salat, of Washington, Rhonda Butler, of Canonsburg, Evelyn Butler, of Strabane, Nikki Breaux, of Denver, Colorado; 3 grandchildren, Annija, Alexander “A.J.”, and Mary Catherine; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received Thursday, 4-8pm, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director, 724-746-1000.

Additional visitation will be held in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg, Friday, 10-11am, with services at 11am with Rev. Anita Lovell, officiating.

Burial will be private. The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Candyce Davis’s name. Please visit www.
