OBITUARY Carla Jo Bouwkamp March 7, 1962 – January 11, 2019 Carla (Sicileno) Bouwkamp, 56, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 in Evansville, IN. She was born in Memphis, TN on March 7, 1962 to the late Joe and Annie Barker. Carla was a nurse in Lafayette, IN and enjoyed working with disabled children.

She worked with Easter Seals in Evansville, IN and was a Christian. She enjoyed rhythm and blues music and was very kind hearted and compassionate. She was everything to her husband and to her family.

Carla is survived by husband of 25 years, Joseph H. Bouwkamp; Sons, Joseph Holland, Jason Garrett (Anita), Michael Barker and Devon Bouwkamp; daughters, Lacey Leming, Kgonna Batts; step-daughters, Christina McMeans (Larry), Patricia Miller (Kevin), Jennifer Moses (Christopher); step-sons, Joseph J.Bouwkamp, James Williams (Kimberly) and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several sisters. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
