Ronald Alan Debes, 60, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Hamilton Pointe Health and Rehab. Ron was born in Evansville, Indiana on October 17, 1958 to the late Linus and Mildred (Lappe) Debes. He worked at St. Boniface Catholic Church and previously at St. Theresa Catholic Church in the maintenance department.

Ron enjoyed all sports and was an IU, Notre Dame and Cubs fan. He loved traveling to Florida and spending time with his family. Ron was always helping… others.

Ron is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandra (Stanley) Debes of Evansville, IN; daughter, Sarah Debes of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Judy Harmon (John) of Evansville, IN; brothers, Joseph Debes (Melissa) of Austin, TX, Charles Debes (Amy) of Evansville, IN, Patrick Debes (Rita) of Louisville, KY, Phil Debes (Mary Anne) of Philadelphia, PA and Michael Debes of St. Paul, MN; mother-in-law, Luella Stanley of Evansville, IN; sisters-in-law, Susan Swader (Bryon) of Evansville, IN, Terri Rohner (Deon) of Evansville, IN and Becky Heldt (Dan) of Evansville, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pam Debes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 418 N Wabash Ave.

, Evansville, IN 47712 with Father John Brosmer celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the church.
