Carl Douglas Uncasville- Carl Anthony Douglas, 57, of Uncasville, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, at Yale-New Haven Hospital surrounded by his wife and loved ones. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts, September 14, 1961, the son of James Altman and Emma Jones. He was the husband of Danielle “Danni” LaBoue Douglas.

Mr. Douglas was graduate of New London High School, class of 1980. He was employed as a Personal Care Assistant at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for nearly twenty years serving mostly in the ER and ICU. He was an avid championship pool player and a die-hard Celtics and Patriots fan.

Carl did whatever he could to help anyone in need. It was his beautiful kind soul that endeared him to so many. In addition to his wife Danni, and his mother Emma, he is survived by daughters Sabrina Parent, Ashley Douglas, Natasha Beeson, Destiny Douglas, Camille Douglas, Amanda Page and Ashley Page.

He has two sisters Melissa Jones and Felicia Douglas as well as 6 grandchildren. Calling hours are Friday from 5 – 8 at the Thomas L. Neilan & sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave. , New London.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Lawrence and Memorial Patient and Assistance Fund, C/O Office of Development at Lawrence Memorial, 365 Montauk Ave. , New London, CT 06320.
