Dorothy Armitage Sinay, Of Norwich, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2018 at Bayview Health Care in Waterford, CT. Born in Somerville, New Jersey on July 7,1926 to the late Josephine (Nittoli) and Norman Armitage. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Terry G. Sinay, who died September 16, 1988.

Mother of Peter K. Sinay and wife Joyce of East Lyme, CT, Deborah J. Sinay and husband Charles Kravetz of Wellesley, MA, Greg Sinay and wife Barbara Lynch of Norwich, CT and Terry G. Sinay, Jr. and wife Rose Ann of New Preston, CT. Grandmother to nine and Great Grandmother to six. Her sister-in-law Majbritt P. Sinay of Old Lyme, CT and many nieces and nephews, survives her.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10am at the Preston City Congregational Church, 31 CT-164, Preston, CT 06365. Internment will follow in Preston City Cemetery, Shetucket Turnpike, Preston, CT. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, Niantic, CT.
