Carma Jean Cox Thomas, 85, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away October 8, 2018 in Richfield. She was born April 17, 1933 in Provo to Bryan Dell and Eva Terry Cox. She married Niel Dee Thomas, he preceded her in death.

Carma was best known as the “mother” of the Paiute ATV Trail, and was always involved in the trail and its activities. She worked from the beginning with the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree. She was known for her keen wit, sense of humor and her welcoming smile.

She is survived by her daughter, Tana (Kendall) Jorgensen and son, Lonnie Dee Thomas, both of Richfield; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Bryan Dell Cox and Lola Cox Smoot. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West in Richfield, where friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30.

Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
