OBITUARY Carmen G Chavez May 17, 1934 – November 8, 2018 Carmen G. Chavez, age 84, of Houston, Texas passed away on Thursday November 8, 2018. Carmen was born May 17, 1934 to Delphina Garcia and Maximino Garcia. Carmen is one of 14 children born to Delphina and Maximino Garcia.

Carmen is survived by; son Jesse Salvador Chavez and daughter-in-law Mary L. Chavez; son Manuel Chavez and daughter-in-law Sherry Chavez; son Henry Chavez and daughter-in-law Mary Chavez; son David Chavez and daughter-in-law Penelope Chavez; sister Delfina Vara, and brothers Aureliano Garcia, Jesus Adolfo, Manuel Garcia and Gilberto Garcia. Carmen was preceded in death by her husband Salvador Chavez; son Rick Chavez; father Maximino Garcia and mother Delphina Garcia. A visitation for Carmen will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003.

A funeral service and interment will occur Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery Chapel, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. FAMILY Salvador Chavez, Husband Rick Chavez, Son Maximino Garcia, Father Delphina Garcia, Mother Salvador Chavez, Son Mary Chavez, Daughter-in-law Manuel Chavez, Son Sherry Chavez, Daughter-in-law Henry Chavez, Son Mary Chavez, Daughter-in-law David Chavez, Son Penelope Chavez, Daughter-in-law Delfina Vara, Sister Aureliano Garcia, Brother Jesus Adolfo, Brother Manuel Garcia, Brother Gilberto Garcia, Brother Carmen Chavez also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren to honor her memory.
