Carol Anne Dagg, age 72, of Royal Oak, passed away March 5, 2019. Beloved mother of Tara (Howard) Crawford. Dear grandmother of Jordan Crawford.

Loving sister of Pat (Jim) Tysver and Bob (Marie) Williams. Predeceased by her sister, Susie Williams and her brother, Tommy Williams. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carol enjoyed a long and successful career with AT&T, starting with the company when it was originally Michigan Bell. At AT&T, Carol worked with the company’s call centers, ultimately traveling to many different spots around the globe to stand up overseas centers—including in China, Europe, and the Middle East. While working full time, and balancing her responsibilities as a single mother, Carol also somehow found the time to complete a Master of Science degree.

In her spare time, Carol had a range of interests. Back in the 1960’s she was very fond of racing Corvettes. In later years, her hobbies became a bit more relaxing: She was an amazing artist and crafter—she could make just about anything—and she was known for her baking, particularly her delicious cheesecake and sugar cookies.

Carol also enjoyed spending time with family, especially her granddaughter. Many family vacations were taken, and the Caribbean was a favorite recurring spot. Perhaps most important of all, Carol will be remembered as an especially loving, giving, and charitable person.

She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, March 9, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 12:00 p.m., at Wm. Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd.

, in Royal Oak (4 blocks east of Woodward). Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Please share a memory on the Tribute Wall at www.
