Obituary for Carol A. Rinaldi Carol A. Rinaldi, 73, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at Staten Island University Hospital North in Staten Island, New York. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late Fred and Ethel Lindahl. Carol moved to Great Kills and most recently to Eltingville.

She was a clerk with the United States Postal Service in Staten Island. Some of her hobbies included dancing, cooking with her granddaughter, Brianna and listening to music, mostly oldies. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

She was the beloved mother to Dana DaCosta and Joseph Rinaldi; devoted grandmother to Brianna; dear sister to Eileen Clark and the late Robert Lindahl and the late Nancy Steiper. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday at St. Clare Church located at 110 Nelson Ave. Staten Island, New York 10308.

Interment of cremains will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Carol’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Carol A. Rinaldi please visit our Sympathy Store.
