Carol Ann Arneson, 71 of Lisbon, North Dakota died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at her home. Carol was born on August 25, 1946, the daughter of Lawrence and Geraldine (Sundquist) Bock in Lisbon, North Dakota. She was raised and educated in Lisbon, graduating from Lisbon High School in 1966.

Carol moved to Oregon for a short time before returning to Lisbon. She was united in marriage to Michael Arneson on October 17, 1973 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lisbon. They made their home in Lisbon, where Carol worked at local restaurants as a cook.

Carol enjoyed camping, the local stock car races, watching NDSU Bison football and the Dallas Cowboys. She also loved looking for a good deal at rummage sales or the local thrift store. Carol treasured time spent with her family especially her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her sons, Terry Arneson of Bismarck, ND; Pat (Sheri) Rostock of Lisbon, ND; Chad Rostock of Milnor, ND; Darrin (Lori) Arneson of Fargo, ND; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Dale (Flavia) Bock of Bunning, CA; Duane (Sonja) Bock of West Fargo, ND; James (Cheryl) Bock of Westminster, CA; Jon (Debi) Bock of Rocklin, CA; two sisters, Jean (Leon) Freeberg of Lisbon, ND; Karen (Terry) Tierney of Reno, NV; numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Mike (2013), seven siblings, Gail Bock, Lynn Bock, Avis Arneson, Shirley Alexander, Donald Bock, Lavonne Bock and Janice Lambert.
