Carol’s Obituary Carol Jean Williams, was called home January 24, 2019. She was born in Memphis, TN on August 12, 1962 to Charles and the late Gwendolyn Hester. Carol was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran where she served as a firefighter.

She enjoyed experiencing new people and places in her tenure as a Greyhound Bus Operator. Carol valued her education and was working on a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, a lifelong goal. She recently placed 1st in a Crime Scene Investigation Skills Team Competition.

Carol loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Some of her favorite pastimes were attending church, bingo and rooting for her beloved Dallas Cowboys. Her most cherished moments were those spent with her family and friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her mother Gwendolyn Meyer Hester. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Daniel Williams; father Charles Hester; sisters Tammy Hester Dooley and Teresa (Hans) Mayer; nieces Angie (Chris) White and Heather Gaudet; nephews Michael (Dona) Dooley and Jeremy Hester; great-niece Malia White; and a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the service begins at 11:00am, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd.

, Pensacola, FL 32504. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
