William “Bill” Hartley, 85, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2019. Bill was born to the late Willie and Avileen Hartley on September 16, 1933 in Moundville, Alabama. He served his country during the Korean War onboard the destroyer USS Marshall (DD676).

After leaving the Navy, Bill worked for Reichold Chemicals where he worked his way up to foreman. After retiring from Reichold Chemicals, he became involved in the Mobile Home industry and became a successful small business owner.
