Obituary for Carol M. Westjohn Carol M. Westjohn, age 74, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Poppen Residence. She was born on January 8, 1944 in Muskegon to Bert and Irene (Wilson) Visscher, and resided in the area all her life. Carol worked at Meijer for 37 years, prior to retiring in 2004.

She enjoyed crafting, sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her children, Scott (Jill) Westjohn, Todd Westjohn, and Deana (Eric) Anderson all of Muskegon; five grandchildren, Stacy, Derek (Leah), Stephanie, Kylee and Caden; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Visscher and Gene (Barb) Visscher; two sisters, Pauline Hoekenga and Joyce Eitniear; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lucille Smith.

MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 11AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St, (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Ken Shady officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 5-7 PM Wednesday evening. Memorial Contributions to the Harbor Hospice Foundation, Poppen Residence will be appreciated.
