Obituary for Caroline Dean Caroline Dean, 95, of Greensboro, passed away on December 19, 2018. She was born on April 5, 1923 in Harrington, Delaware to the late Wesley Thorpe and Lyda Dickerson Thorpe. Mrs. Dean married Ralph “Buck” Dean and together they had three children.

Mrs. Dean was a member of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Greensboro. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by sons Robert C. (JoAnn) Dean of Greensboro and Marion M. Dean of Greensboro and daughter Ruth I. (Kenny) Dennis of Greensboro, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will be private. To share memories and condolences please visit www.
