Carolyn J. Cox, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2018. She was born in Springfield, OH on May 14, 1939 to the late Harold and Lucille Brandle. Graduate of Springfield Catholic Central.

Member of Christ the King Church for many years before moving to Raleigh, NC and upon return was a member of St. Paul Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Dewayne Cox; daughter, Amy (Tony) Martin; grandchildren, Matthew, John and Maggie Martin; brothers, Douglas (Sue) Brandle and Dennis Michael Brandle; many dear nieces, nephews and close friends. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, 403 East Broad Street.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Church, 313 North State Street. Private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, OH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt.

Carmel Hospice, Almost Home Dog Rescue or Springfield Catholic Central School.
