Carolyn L. Harkinson, 59, of S. Renovo passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at Bucktail Medical Center. She was born May 11, 1959 in Lock Haven. On October 16, 1976, she married the love of her life, Clifford “Bill” Harkinson, Jr., with whom she celebrated 42 years of marriage.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Bucktail Medical Center where she both enjoyed and loved her co-workers. Carolyn was strong in her faith and her love for the Lord was evident. She showed compassion towards, prayed for and genuinely loved everyone she knew.

Carolyn enjoyed Facebook- whether playing games or growing meaningful relationships with others. She also liked to read and complete puzzles and word searches. Most important to her, though, was her family whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her husband, Bill Harkinson of S. Renovo, she is survived by two daughters, Crystal (Brian) Tripp and Billie Francis, both of North Bend; four siblings: Sandy Jarrett of Renovo, Charlene Clarey of S. Renovo, Ray Bodley of Renovo and Tracy Houtz of Renovo; five grandchildren: Alanna, Zane and Gianna Tripp and John and Lily Francis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis C. Green Bodley. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced upon completion.

In true Carolyn-style, it is asked that you “pay it forward” or find someway to do something nice for someone else. Arrangements are under the direction of the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven.
