Obituary for Carolyn L. Stubbs Carolyn L. Stubbs, 77, of Eaton, OH, passed into eternity suddenly on Friday evening, June 15, 2018. Born March 2, 1941, she was a daughter of Orville and Lucille (Donson) Brandenburg. Carolyn was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Eaton and former member of first Brethren Church in Gratis.

She enjoyed reading, watching daytime television shows and was a devoted Elvis fan. She is preceded in death by her father Orville Brandenburg and husband Gayle Stubbs in 2013. Survived by mother Lucille Brandenburg of Eaton; daughters Sharilyn Miller and husband Mike of Gratis and Sheila Tackett and husband J.B. of Eaton; grandchildren Summer Pence and Drew Otherson; step grandchildren Justin, Tyler and Jacob Tackett; great grandson Ezra Pence; step great grandchildren Wyatt, Tylynn and Daisy; brother Gerald Brandenburg of Lewisburg.

All are invited to attend graveside services at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis; and a memorial service at Grace Lutheran Church later in the day on Tuesday. Watch here for times to be announced for the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Preble County Humane Society.
