OBITUARY Carolyn Margaret Sargent May 30, 1926 – July 15, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Carolyn Margaret Sargent, age 92, of Tampa Florida, passed away on Sunday, July 15th, 2018. She was Born in Erie, PA on May 30th, 1926 to the late Albert and Hazel Latimer Dean. She lived in North East, Pennsylvania and worked in refrigeration at General Electric, in Erie, PA in the early 1950’s where she met her husband and love of her life, Samuel R. Sargent.

They Married in 1952 and shared their life of 61 years together until his passing on August 28, 2013. Carolyn worked at Welch’s from 1972 until retiring in 1989 at which time she and her husband, Sam, moved to Florida to enjoy their remaining golden years together. Carolyn is survived by her three children, Nickie (Nordin) Gibson and husband Mark Gibson of Titusville, Florida; Gary Nordin and wife Pauline of Erie, PA and Carol (Sargent) Rex of Tampa, FL.

She is also survived by Grandchildren Stephanie (Rex) Prostak, Michelle Welton, Gregory Nordin, Jennifer (Nordin) Brenenton, Kelly (Nordin) Conely, and Jason Nordin. Great-grandchildren Jadon Prostak, Isabella Prostak, Mattie Welton, Derek Nordin, Casy Nordin, Scott Nordin, Liam Brenenton, Jamie Conely, and Gregory Conely. Funeral Arrangements are being made at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 3207 W. Bearss Ave.

, Tampa, FL 33618. The viewing to be Thursday, July 19th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
