Carolyn M. Simeraro, 93, of Hopedale (formerly of Steubenville) died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Gables Care Center. She was born in Steubenville on April 20, 1925 the daughter of the late Paul and Lucy LaRocca Carrocci. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve A. Simeraro and a brother John Carrocci.

She retired from the Indian Creek School District in 1985 as a Librarian and attended the former Life in The Word Church in Steubenville and presently was attending Second Chance Ministries. She is survived by her son Paul M. (Denise) Simeraro of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren Aaron (Jackie) and Benjamin Simeraro and Rachael (Robbie) McGregor and four great grandchildren; sister Concetta “Connie” Candelaria of Mingo Junction; the Blancato Families and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel at 2 p.m. Pastor Mark Gilliam officiating.

Burial will follow in the Queen of Heaven section of Mount Calvary.
