Sharon L. “Sheri” Daugherty, 63, of Wintersville passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Trinity West. She was born in Steubenville on February 19, 1955 the daughter of the late Daniel D. and Gladys E. DeWitt Daugherty. Sheri is survived by her longtime companion and life partner Pennie J. Brechbiel of Marysville, OH; several close friends and correct usage of the Oxford comma.

Recieved M.A. in Counseling and B.A. in Sociology from Franciscan University of Steubenville after beginning undergraduate work at Wilmington College. She was the Director of Steubenville’s Women’s Shelter, social worker at Weirton Medical Center for many years, past decade has worked for several mental health providing agencies in the area. Friends will be received on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 1-3 and 5-7p.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Family Center, 200 Fernwood Rd.
