Obituary of Carolyn Monshower Carolyn A. Monshower, age 89 of Clifton Park passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Born on June 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Agnes King. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Monshower Jr., daughter Karen Monshower, and son Brian Monshower.

Carolyn was employed by Montgomery Ward prior to dedicating her time to raising her family. On any given day you could find Carolyn watching her favorite team, the Yankees, and relaxing in her chair. She was always in good company with her family visiting her on a daily basis, and enjoying some hot tea beside her.

Carolyn was an avid animal lover and donated regularly to the humane society. She is survived by her sons Barry (Donna) Monshower and Brad (Lynn) Monshower; grandchildren, Rachel Stephens, Cynthia Self, Katie Monshower, Raymond Slusser III and Zachary Monshower, and several great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park.

Donations may be made in her memory to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
