Mrs. Carrie Richard Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Sunrise Baptist Church in Bristol, LA, for Mrs. Carrie Richard, 57, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, February 9, 2019 in Church Point, LA. Interment will be Sunrise Baptist Cemetery. Rev.

Tony Gibson will officiate at the service. Mrs. Richard is survived by her mother, Mary A. Wheeler of Church Point, LA; her children, Treona Dugas of Rayne, LA, Isaiah P. Richard and Tramike M. Richard both of Opelousas, LA; four sisters, Norma Jean Wheeler, Virginia W. Cormier (Donald), Leola Lewis and Belita W. Citizen (Felton) all of Church Point, LA; eight brothers, Samuel Wheeler, Jr. (Lorena), Ricky Wheeler (Lakasha), Ronald Angelle, Donald Angelle, Mark Angelle all of Church Point, LA, Charles Wheeler (Melinda), Raymond Wheeler (Linda) both of Lafayette, LA and Joseph Richard of Church Point, LA; three sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Richard was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin P. Richard, Sr.; two children, Calvin P. Richard, Jr. and Miracle A. Richard; her father, Samuel Wheeler, Sr.; a brother, Clifton Angelle; maternal grandparents, Eugene & Virginia Angelle; paternal grandparents, Samuel & Carrie Wheeler; father and mother-in-law and four sisters-in-law.
