Carrie Vannette Kent June 27, 1930 – January 11, 2019 Carrie Vannette Kent was born in Taylor, Louisiana on June 27th 1930 to the parents Arthur and Flossie Woodard. She left us on January 11th, 2019. Carrie was proceeded in death by her husband Thomas Franklin Kent and son Michael Brunston.

She is survived by her sister Dorothy Boddie and brother Arthur Jennings Woodard, her son Steven Brunston and daughter Karen Brunston Guest, five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Taylor Baptist Church, 1717 U.S. Hwy 80, Gibsland, Louisiana. A Letter From Heaven When tomorrow starts without me And I’m not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me.

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry The way you did today; While thinking of the many things We didn’t get to say. I know how much you love me As much as I love you; And each time that you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too.
