Carroll Douglas Jones Spartanburg, SC: Carroll Douglas Jones, 68, passed away Saturday July 28, 2018 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. He was the husband of Judy Louise Hill Jones and the son of the late Perry L. and Frances S. Jones. Mr. Jones was a graduate of Cowpens High School and USC Upstate and was self-employed as a locksmith.

He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Jones was an active member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He enjoyed fishing, singing and playing the guitar. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Sherry Louise Carlton and husband Chad of Spartanburg, Autum Dawn Jones of Spartanburg; three granddaughters Amber Carlton of PA, Hope and Hannah Jones of Inman; four brothers Donald Earl Jones of Cowpens, Michael Leroy Jones of Spartanburg, Timothy Leslie Jones of Spartanburg, and Charles Wesley Jones of Cowpens. He is predeceased by a son Roger Dale Jones.

Visitation will be 11:00 am Tuesday July 31, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Cowpens SC. Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm officiated by Dr. Robert Kirby and Rev.

Dennis Spencer. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303, or Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 250 Mt. Olive Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
