Dyke, Sr. October 22, 1946 – February 19, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Carroll “Moody” Edward Dyke Sr, 72, of North Chesterfield, Virginia, fell asleep in death in the afternoon of Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Carroll was the son of the late William Robert Dyke Jr and the late Valeria D Dyke. He was born on October 22, 1946 in Bedford County, Virginia.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, William Robert Dyke III, and George Dolphin Dyke. He is survived by his sisters, Jacqulin Boyd and spouse, Gene, of Hampton and Ann Brown of Roanoke; brother, Raymond Eugene Dyke Sr, of Roanoke; ex-wife, Madelyn Brown Dyke of Afton Va, previously married for 42 years; five children, Carroll Edward Dyke Jr and spouse, Diane, Christopher Shane Dyke, Candace Sheree Stevens and spouse, Daryl, Jamie Leigh-an Christian Dyke, Whitney Maria Cooper and spouse, Tyler; grandchildren, Christopher Shane Dyke Jr, Caresse Jasmin Stokes, Cahlil Jordan Stokes, and C. Elijah Dyke; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carroll was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses early in his life and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2710 Normandale Rd, N. Chesterfield, VA 23237.
