Cassandra’s Obituary Cassandra Nan (Mosqueira) Steakley, was born on June 20, 1994, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Ivan B. Mosqueira, Jr. and DeAnne (Spencer) Howard. She was taken too soon on March 24 2019, at the of 24. Cassandra was raised in Marlow, Oklahoma and was a high school graduate of the Marlow High School.

She has been a resident of Lindsay for the past 6 years along with her family. She was the restaurant manager of Subway and Chester’s Chicken in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Cassandra married the love of her life Christian James Steakley at the Lindsay Golf Course on July 12, 2014.

Together they had two beautiful daughters Athena and Ariana. Cassandra was a loving wife and caring mother to her girls. She went above and beyond to ensure that they had everything they needed and had the best life could give.

Cassandra had a heart of gold and loved to give of herself to others; she often gave gifts even though she may not get one in return. She was very creative in everything she did, she always hand made all the birthday decorations for the parties she put together. Cassandra was an avid lover of all things Harry Potter and Pokemon.

She has read the Harry Potter books many times and there was not a Pokemon that she didn’t know. Wolves and Dreamcatchers were of great interest to her and she enjoyed the meaning behind them. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Christian Steakley of Lindsay, her daughters, Athena and Ariana Steakley of the home, father-in-law, Peanut and his wife Lori Steakley of Bradley, mother-in-law, Karen Thompson of Lindsay, sisters-in-law, Kalyn Steakley of Lindsay, Hannah Steakley of Lindsay, Shea Steakley of Lindsay, brothers-in-law, Ethan Steakley of Washington, DC, Colten Steakley of Bradley,Dalton Ellis of Knoxville, Tennessee, her niece, Eden Taylor of Lindsay, special friends Mike, Paula, Jesse, and Brandon Bailey and Becca King, her brother, Raymond Miller of the United States Airforce overseas, and mother, DeAnne Howard of Calera.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Raphaela Jasper and great grandmother Rita Penn. A Memorial Service to honor the life of Cassandra is set to begin at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home Chapel in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
