J. C. McCarn of Pauls Valley, was born to Andrew and Ollie Williams McCarn on February 22, 1931 in Nashoba, OK and passed from this life on March 18, 2019. J. C. was raised in Pushmataha county for 14 years, then to Oregon and Northeast California where he was employed as a logger in the timber industry. On June 25, 1949 he married Dorothy Anderson in Eureka, CA.

He liked to listen to country and western music. J.C. was survived by: His wife Dorothy McCarn of the home 2 Sons: Dennis McCarn of Kent, OK Carl Wayne McCarn of Davis, OK 2 Daughters: Carol Ann McCarn of Vancouver , WA Marsha Gail McCarn of Pauls Valley, OK 1 Sister: Gertie Weems of Stigler, OK 7 Grandchildren and 19 Great-grandchildren Cremation arrangements are under the directions of Wooster Funeral Home.
