Alice Maxine Weese February 02, 1930 – May 22, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Alice Maxine (Sumpter) Weese was born on February 2, 1930 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to George Maston Sumpter and Grace Hazel (Wilson) Sumpter. She passed from this life on May 22, 2019 at the age of 89. Maxine was born and raised in Lindsay, Oklahoma and was a proud member of New Home Full Gospel Church in Dibble, Oklahoma.

Maxine was all about her family. She spent most of her early years raising her eight children, and when they were grown she found great joy in spending her time with the grandchildren. Maxine is survived by her eight children; Doris and husband Steve Baxter of Ada, OK, Larry Palmer of Dibble, OK, Danny Ray Palmer of Oklahoma City, OK, Angela and husband Will Robison of Purcell, OK, and Patricia Pauline Quinn of Lindsay, OK, her sister, Jessi Yarbrough of Maysville, OK, her eighteen grandchildren; Douglas Cecil, Susan Peterson, Rick Peterson, Adam Baxter, Jake Baxter, Joe Palmer, Shawna Reed, Delayna Pintor, Mike Palmer, Ben Palmer, Jason Palmer, Alicia Haskins, Tom Palmer, Ricky Palmer, Niki Bridges, Luke Palmer, Maranda Kohick, and Bill Robison, her eighteen great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Maxine is proceeded in death by her daughter, Jackie Cecil, her two sons, Marada Jack Palmer and James Edward Palmer, and her granddaughter Quinda Jackson. Graveside service to honor the life of Maxine is set to begin at 3:30 P.M. on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Erin Springs Cemetery in Erin Springs, Oklahoma with Dr. Sharon Ratchbun speaking. Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma.
