Betty J. Crabtree of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Claud and Eliza (McGill) Somers on May 16, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 7, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years. Betty grew up and attended school in Pauls Valley. On January 23, 1947, Betty married John Crabtree.

She volunteered at the Chickasaw Nation Center in Pauls Valley. Mrs. Crabtree is survived by: Her husband: John Melvin of the home Son: Roger Crabtree and wife Patsy of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida Daughter: Linda Barton and husband Richard of Plano, Texas Brothers: Don Somers of Wynnewood, Oklahoma Roy Somers Lindsay, Oklahoma Sisters: Lou Carlton of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Audrey Herell and husband Don of Ardmore, Oklahoma Barbara Johnson and husband David of Wynnewood, Oklahoma 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren Mrs. Crabtree was preceded in death by: Parents: Claud and Eliza Somers Brothers: Frank Somers and Claudie Somers Sister: Louise Botkin Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
