Wilford Ray (Shorty) Boling, the most precious of men, passed away at his home May 1, 2019. He will be welcomed with love by his wife, Geneva Lafern Boling who passed away August 1994. Wilford was born on September 14, 1922 in Carney, Oklahoma to Pat and Iva (Cloud) Boling.

He grew up and attended school in Carney and later made his home in Elmore City. Wilford was a welder and mechanic. He owned and operated Boling Welding Service for many years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, traveling to bluegrass and gospel singings. He got to enjoy his 2 great-grandchildren who were born in the last year and he enjoyed sharing his birthday with his grandson Blake. Mr. Boling is survived by: Sons: Steve Boling and wife Sharon of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Jerry Boling of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Daughter: Judy Spencer of Beaverton, Oregon 4 grandchildren: Jamie Tuttle, Christine Spencer of Oregon, Blake Boling, and Sharee Stamper of Oklahoma 2 great-grandchildren: Eli Boling and Jensen Stamper Mr. Boling was preceded in death by: His wives: Geneva the mother of his children and the love of his life.

Ina Pullium enjoyed the last part of Wilford’s life with him and her family accepted & loved him as their own. His parents: Pat and Iva Boling Brothers: Willard, Warren and Charles Sisters: Roberta and Freida Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2019 at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley. Interment will be in the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
