James Byron McGregor of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Norman Edward and Minnie B. (Lee) McGregor on July 1, 1940 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and passed from this life on May 17, 2019 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years. James grew up and attended school in Elmore City, Oklahoma. He served his country, in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He later owned and operated a dairy. James owned and operated a machine shop in Davis and later Mac’s Machine Shop in Pauls Valley. On October 15, 2005, James married Hazel Ramsey in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

In his spare time, he enjoyed cattle ranching. The highlight of his life was his family. Mr. McGregor is survived by: Wife: Hazel McGregor of the home Daughter: Tara McGregor of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Stepdaughter: Linda Rodriguez of Houston, Texas Sisters: Jerlyn Evans of Washington, Oklahoma Leota Nichols of Ada, Oklahoma 3 step grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren A host of loving nieces and nephews Mr. McGregor was preceded in death by: Wife: Nellie McGregor Parents: Norman and Minnie McGregor Sister: J’nne McGregor Brother: Riley McGregor Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the First Assembly of God with Rev.
