Catheleen Virginia Lee, 93, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Regency Care. Catheleen was born on March 20, 1925 in Creston, IA the daughter of Martin and Naomi Foy Comer. She retired from the Department of Revenue.

She was a member of Elliott Avenue Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, reading, watching sports and was an avid University of Illinois fan. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Cloyce Comer.

She is survived by three children, Linda Vincent of Springfield, Susan Lee of Chatham and Carol (Jeff) Leathers of Noblesville, IN; brother, Martin “Marty” Comer of Somerset, CA; four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 12-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
