Obituary for Catherine “Cathy” Thornburg Catherine “Cathy” Thornburg, 59, of Dublin passed away on July 5, 2018 after she fought a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born in Columbus to Robert Kell and Irene Chell. Cathy was a 1977 graduate of West High School and worked for several years with Penske Vehicle Services at the Honda Plant.

Cathy was proud of her accomplishments in life but above all were her twin boys, Alan and Brian Thornburg. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Pauline Kerr and Robert Mahr. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 26 years, Bruce and her sons; brothers, Clifford (Kathryn Clark) Mahr and Christopher R. Kell; sister-in-law, Maureen Swartz; niece, Alyssa DeLuca and nephews, Andrew Thornburg, Bart Thornburg and Colin Kell.
