Catherine G. Condon passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Peace Care St. Ann’s. She was born in Bayonne to the late Violet (nee: Carter) and James Condon. A graduate of Bayonne High School, Class of 1942, and St. Peter’s College, Mrs. Condon was an accounting clerk for Western Electric for over 30 years and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Stanley Holmes Chapter.

She was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, a member of its Rosary Society and the Centurians. Mrs. Condon is survived by her beloved siblings, Margaret “Sisie” Regan, Elsie Buban, Barbara McNulty (Neil), Violet Stray (Teddy), Patricia Cain, Rita Kiernan, James Condon (Eileen) and John Condon (Leona); and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her dear sisters, Alice Fitzgerald and Florence Murphy.

The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Monday, July 23, 2018. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Miriam Teresa Parish at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Villa or St. Peter’s College.
