Obituary for Catherine Marie Bowen Arnett Catherine Marie Arnett, 75, of Hattiesburg, passed away October 17, 2018. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 20th at 10:00 am at Central Baptist Church in Hattiesburg. Interment will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.

There will be a visitation on October 19th from 5-7pm at Pinehaven Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Saturday October 20th at 9:00 am at Central Baptist Church. Catherine was born in Raeford, NC on December 7th, 1942 to the late Mack Lee Bowen and Angeline Hicks Bowen.

She is preceded in death by her son Mickey Arnett. Cathy is survived by her brother Ronnie Bowen (Linda) of Ballground, GA; four children and their spouses Mark Arnett (Darla) of Hattiesburg, Susan Rester (Dennis), Pam Benham (Jeff) and Sam Arnett (Mary); grandchildren: Cody Arnett, Carley Arnett, Nathan Rester, Sydney Rester, Katie Rester, Drew Benham, Ashlynn Benham, Marlie Arnett, Colton Arnett, Gabby Arnett. Cathy grew up in the Raeford area and attended nursing school at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA.

She raised her children in Hattiesburg and worked as an RN at Forrest General where she retired in 1999. She attended Central Baptist Church and had many long-time friends in her Sunday school class.
