Obituary for Catherine M. Mattingly Dateline: Bethalto Catherine M. Mattingly, 77, of Wood River, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:35 pm. She was born on March 17, 1941. She married Charles Mattingly on June 13, 1959 in Perryville, MO.

Catherine was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bethalto. She was an avid gardener, loved her grandchildren, loved to laugh and just enjoyed life. Along with her husband she is survived by her children, Ken (Rollene) Mattingly and Rhonda (Rick) Anderson, five grandchildren, Nathan Mattingly, Brian Mattingly, Kyle Mattingly, Megan Lewis, and Rachel Chamberlayne; and five great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 10:30 am until time of Mass at 12 pm, at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bethalto where Father Tom Liebler will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
