OBITUARY Cathleen Jeanne Ardoin February 1, 1926 – November 25, 2018 Jeanne Reed Ardoin, age 92, of Crowley, Louisiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 25, 2018. Jeanne was born on February 1, 1926 in Iota, La. Jeanne was a member of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church for over fifty years.

She was a wonderful wife and mother to her husband and eight children. It was very important to her that she knelt around the beside each night in prayer with her children. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and listening to music in her spare time.

Jeanne was passionate about taking care of the sick & elderly in her community in their time of need. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Ardoin, parents, four brothers, and two sisters. Those left behind to cherish her memory are four sons, Ronnie Ardoin and wife, Brenda, Dennis Ardoin and wife, Anna, Doug Ardoin and wife, Jo Ann, and Mark Ardoin and wife, Rozie; four daughters, Brenda Ardoin, Claudette Roberts and husband, Danny, Lisa Acock and husband, Doug, and Theresa Ardoin; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Lacassine. Rev. Rojo Antony Koonathan will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with a Rosary held at 5 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
