Obituary for Cathy Demorais Cathy Kelly Demorais, 75, of Seagrove, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro. Born June 12, 1943 in Dublin, Ireland, Mrs. Demorais was the daughter of the late Patrick and Christina Kelly. She retired from the NC Zoo.

Survivors include her daughter, Jenni Demorais of Bangor, Northern Ireland; sons, Patrick Demorais of Seagrove and Shane Demorais of Los Angeles, CA; sisters, Mary Gore, Jane Dillon and Trish McCormick, all of Dublin, Ireland; brother, Thomas Kelly of Dublin, Ireland; and grandson, Lorcan Toner of Hampshire, UK. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Monday. Ju;y 2, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Charles Reeder officiating. Memorials may be made to the NC Zoological Society, 4403 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro, NC 27205. Previous Events Visitation , JUL 2.
