Cathy R. Hill, 57, a lifelong Rushville resident, passed away May 22, 2019 in Shelbyville. She was born October 19, 1961 in Rushville to John A. Walker, Sr. and Geraldine (Burton) Wallace, both deceased. Cathy was a 1980 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School.

She worked many years at Fujitsu Ten, Subway, Snappy Tomato Pizza and JustRite. She was a member of the Christ Fellowship Church in Rushville. Cathy loved playing bingo, board games and working puzzles.

She loved going shopping. Time spent on the river was always relaxing and she also enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She loved her family and extended family!

! She is survived by her son, Chris (Alicia) Hill , her daughters, Melissa Hill and Shannon (Craig) Cox all of Rushville, her grandchildren, Trey Hill, Michael Hill, Summer Eveland, Lilly Basturk, Jackson Basturk, Karigan Cox, Hailey Hill, Bently Hill, Kaden Meyer, Briley Hill and Nora Cox, half-sisters, Annette Wren, Kimbly Wallace and Sonya Carroll and extended family whom she really considered to be her parents, Jack & Gloria Hill of Rushville and her brothers, Jerry (Michelle) Hill, Kerry (Katie) Hill, John (Susan) Hill all of Rushville and Chuck (Yvonne) Hill of Muncie. Cathy was preceded in death by a daughter, Felicia Hill, a son, Michael Hill, a grandson, Jordan Hill and grandparents, Silas & Mary Walker.

Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Jason Cupp presiding. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 AM until time of service on Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery.
